PHOTOGRAPHS ON BRUSHED ALUMINUM

This elegant presentation features the photograph flush-mounted to a brushed aluminum backing which is rigid, light-weight and highly resistant to warping. There is no need for a frame or glass to keep the artwork flat, and no annoying reflections regardless of where the piece is hung. The brushed metal around the photo picks up colors from its nearby surroundings and will change subtly with the variations in color of the light falling on it.

The print is laminated with a protective and UV-resistant coating, allowing fingerprints or dust to be wiped off easily with a damp cotton cloth. Because there is no glass, care must be taken not to let anything scratch or dent the print or backing, but in general the lifetime of these prints will be the same as when they are matted and framed under glass.


The finished piece comes with two 1/2-inch mounting blocks on the back allowing it to "float" above your wall. All in all this is a very clean and contemporary look, well worth the additional cost of materials and production.
